Each year, Eustress, Inc. recognizes outstanding efforts of mental health professionals and/or organizations who have demonstrated exceptional support of and belief in promoting positive conversations relative to African American mental illness.  The purpose is to recognize individuals whose advocacy for mental health has positively impacted the community.  The ideal nominees would both engage in and facilitate open mental health conversations about the African American mental health community that encourage people to “Talk About It.”   

Eligibility requirements

Clinician, Community Organization, or Peer that has undertaken innovative and supportive efforts to raise awareness of mental health in the African American community

Deadline to apply

The deadline to submit nominations for the “Let’s Talk About It” Recognition Award is March 31, 2024.

Recipient Notification

The nominees will be notified by the email provided by Monday, April 15, 2024, and will be recognized at the “Let’s Talk About It” Mental Health Awareness Gala on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at the NASCAR Hall of Fame. The winner of the award will be announced that evening.
