CANCELLED Eustress Inc. presents the 5th Annual Let's Talk About It Mental Health Awareness Walk

  • Martin Luther King Middle School 2500 Bilmark Avenue Charlotte, NC, 28213 United States (map)

Eustress, Inc. presents Charlotte's Fifth Annual Let's Talk About It Mental Health Awareness Walk.
There is no doubt that mental illness is a health condition that is preventable or treatable. Over 42 million people in the United States suffer from some form of mental illness, and approximately 1 in 25 adults in the U.S. will experience a serious mental illness in a given year that substantially interferes with their life activities.

Yet, the stigma associated with mental illness causes far too many people to suffer in silence.

The “Let's Talk about It Walk” will be held at Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School in Charlotte, NC. We ultimately want to show support for those in the community living with mental disorders and to encourage everyone not to be afraid to TALK ABOUT IT!

Registration/Check-in for the Walk begins at 8:30 a.m

Vendors promoting resources to improve one's mental health holistically will be available beginning at 9 a.m.

Ultimate Fitness of Charlotte will lead a fitness boot camp starting at 9 a.m. Be sure you wear your athletic wear and bring a towel if you sweat a lot!

The Event Program begins at 10:00 a.m.!

All proceeds will go to Eustress Inc.'s mission to break the stigma surrounding mental illness in the community.
